I was never good at taking notes in class
But one thing that I know is that you need to drill things mentally and physically
Just run few steps in your mind, only the few key things that makes the core concept
Then add the details that makes the difference
Breaking it down only for a few key steps makes all the difference for me.
(And I still mostly suck at that, but that’s a process, that’s my journey)

Arm lock from the close guard

Steps:

- Collar grip at shoulder level
- Grip Arm
- Foot on the hip
- Thigh on stretched arm elbow

If doesn’t work
Try the Omoplata

If doesn’t work
Go for the Arm Bar

Steps:

- Pull the arm
- Leg over the back
- Leg over the head


Foot on Hip Guard Sweep

Steps:

- Foot on the hips
- Grab collar
- Grab arm same side
- Pull closer to opponent’s hips
- Swing

- Knee block to the chest
- Sweep with the leg
